A lot of people wonder why they should buy products. By products I mean, canvases, prints or an album. You may think, “I am already spending a lot of money on photography, why should I spend even more?” I think the answer is actually quite simple. Your wedding images were never meant to stay on your computer screen! While it is nice in the digital age to be able to share images on facebook, twitter and on blogs, that is not all your wedding images were intended to do! Since this is one of the most important days of your life, I believe that you need something tangible! Having prints, a canvas or an album is something that you can see, touch and feel! While it is nice to show off your wedding images on facebook, its even nicer to hand your house guests your wedding album and watch as they flip through it!
I love being able to provide my clients with their wedding images on a flash drive, but you don’t want to have to dig around in the office every time you want to show them off! To be completely honest with you, when I got married I thought it was super important to have a DVD with all of our images on it, and while I am so glad that we did get that, we didn’t get an album. Now, I am not even sure where our DVD is, but if we had had gotten an album, I promise you that it would be on our coffee table and I would see it every day! I don’t open up my folder of wedding images and sort through it every day, but I see a picture of our wedding on my wall every day. To me that is way more special.
I don’t think they question we should be asking is, “Why should I invest?” but rather, “Why not?” After spending thousands of dollars on wedding images, you should be able to do something with those images! You need a way to showcase them, display them and show them off! Why would you spend thousands of dollars to just let your flash drive sit around and get dusty?
Cue product images… this is your chance to see why an album and canvas are so great! Check out a few images below to see the magic!
